Was cleaning out the pictures on my phone, and found this one of the kids taken in New Mexico, which I forgot about. I remember the moment -- we were at the hospital to see my Grandfather, and they wouldn't let the kids in to see him since he was in the ICU. So Lauren asked me to take their picture with my phone, "so your Granddaddy can see it and know we love him." I went into the ICU, showed it to Granddaddy, told him the story, and through some misty eyes, he said "what a beautiful family." And I have to agree.
