The beach relaxes me, always. And this is what the week was all about. We got up in the morning, went out to the water, the kids played, I read, we swam, they all played in the sand and built castles and dug holes. In the afternoons, we would go into Seaside or Watercolor, have tacos and margaritas (we did, not the kids), have ice cream, shop, wander around. Lauren and Jay rented a tandem bike and rode a few days, and one day the kids and I spent an afternoon decorating our own pottery at the cutest little shop on the planet. It was great. It was quintessential together time.
