We spent Saturday taking in a kids art class at the Georgia O'Keefe museum, spent some time down by the Plaza looking at all the art of the Spanish Market, and ate lunch at Tia Sophia's. The kids really really wanted to go for a hike, so we decided to take them up the road to the Santa Fe ski basin and find a place that looked inviting.
There were a million trails, so we pulled over when we found one that looked interesting and set out for a little hike. Here is what is perhaps my favorite picture of the whole trip -- the air was crisp, the kids were excited, and we were all together. Lauren gathered up some wildflowers, Hudson called the name of the lost dog whose picture was posted on a tree (well, technically he called out the name "ya ya," but we knew what he was attempting), and the kids made joint wishes and blew petals into the mountain air.
