And last but certainly not least, a "Welcome Baby Curry" party for my very good friend, Heather and her husband, Matt. We had Blue Goose bring in some Mexican food, our neighbor Bob kept us in margaritas, and we celebrated the impending arrival of Heather and Matt's first baby, gender unknown. Heather is quite possibly the most beautiful pregnant woman on the planet, and Matt had a ball reliving his youth and opening all the baby stuff!
After everyone had thinned out, Matt, Jay, and Jeff turned on the Wii and played Tiger Woods Golf until the wee hours. We giggled and laughed and polished off the beer, and though Heather was exhausted by the end of it, she was a great sport. It was a nice evening, but a bittersweet one, as Matt and Heather packed up and moved to Pittsburgh a few days later. I'm trying to convince her to start a blog of her own, to keep us all in the loop!
