So Gannon's Mom, Yvonne, called last night because Gannon was requesting some "Jon Owen time," so it seemed fortuitous that Jon Owen could spend the morning with Gannon at his house while we were ensconsed in orientation at Parish. For those of you who don't know the Gaubert's and have never been to their house, it is nothing short of a wonderland for kids -- they are on a huge lot with a gorgeous house, pool, cabana, huge play structure, sport court, lots and lots of grass to run and play, lots and lots of paved area to ride bikes and scooters and battery powered vehicles, and it's all elaborately fenced around the perimeter so the kids can just cavort at will. They have every toy and acoutrement known to man, and my kids LOVE to play there. So Jon Owen was thrilled when I told him where he would be spending the morning. Here he is on their latest riding thing, which Jon Owen was driving insanely fast when I pulled up.
