Despite still feeling very much under the weather, I pulled myself together last night to attend the Parish Gala. We'd been looking forward to this for a long time, we put together a really fun group of people to sit with at our table, I took photos of all the first graders for display, and I really wanted to go, even if it was for just a little bit. And it was fun. Although I wasn't in top form, I was glad I went.
