A Visit From Miss Courtney

So we were delighted that Courtney came to hang out with us one afternoon. She lives in the area now with her husband Bryan (who is as we speak deployed in Afghanistan), just finished up her Masters in Nursing, and was just getting ready to start her job as a Labor and Delivery Nurse (totally perfect for her -- she will be more than awesome!).

We all love seeing her, and we had a great afternoon with her poolside, catching up over lunch a few cocktails. She's was a great girl when she babysat for us while she was in college, but it's wonderful to be able to see what she has become post-college. She's extremely grounded and mature and is making herself quite a wonderful life!

After hanging out all afternoon, she graciously offered to watch the kids so that Jay and I could have dinner out alone. She recommended a great restaurant right on the beach in LaJolla, which we absolutely loved. Again, I didn't take near enough pictures! I was totally in relaxation mode.

Anyway. It was great to see you Courtney!
