Valentines!

I was very, very proud of the kids this year. They each made their own Valentines for their friends -- Lauren cut out large hearts, decorated them with markers and stickers and glitter, and personalized each one for each friend. Jon Owen cut out cards for everyone, wrote the to's and from's all by himself with awesome printing, and also made each one special for each friend. They were really sweet and special cards, and they both worked very hard on them.

So here is Jon Owen, giving the very large Valentine he made to Miss Kathy, and putting all his friends cards in their holders that they decorated at school. I love it when the letters and the words all start to click, it's amazing.
