So last night we had our parent/teacher conference with Mrs. Davies to talk about Lauren's progress. Despite getting off to a somewhat shaky start at the beginning of the school year, Lauren is thriving and doing very well. She is trying very hard to make good behavioral choices, is being a good friend and neighbor, and of course, is absolutely kicking a$$ academically. Mrs. Davies tells us that this is the best class she's ever had, it's very "top-heavy," and that she has had to add more content and material than ever before, because these kids are great learners. I love that she's a part of it!Beam, beam, beam -- how annoying am I?
In any case, I had to share this story that we were given last night that she wrote in writing workshop about her latest experience with the tooth fairy. You may remember that the tooth fairy handled her most recent tooth collection in a fairly unorthodox manner...
By the way, the scanner and upload feature of this website combined to cut off the margins of her story, you'll have to do some deduction to figure out some words. And you may have to click on the image to be able to read it at all. But it's too cute, I just had to post it!
