And now, something on the lighter side....

These days, there are few things that bring me as much enjoyment as tennis. Watching it, playing it, reading about it, I just love it. And we all know that in the world of tennis, Roger Federer is who I love the most. Aside from being ridiculously talented and accomplished in the sport, he is universally lauded as a great sportsman, competitor, and ambassador -- undoubtedly a class act as an athlete and a human being.

So somehow, in the midst of the past few months craziness, I missed blogging about two very important things -- Roger won the French Open (for the first time EVER) and Wimbledon (for the 6th time -- but this time beat the all time Slam record of 15 previously held by Pete Sampras). As usual, I was glued to the television for every moment of it.

Roger Federer -- the greatest mens player ever. And, equally as important in my book, undoubtedly the one with the best hair. My friend Jeanie said it best -- "when he took his headband off and shook his hair, I felt like a 16 year old girl." I concur. Yum.
