So we hosted our new Parish buddy families for swimming and dinner last night. Jack and Cindy Lawson and their twins, Jake and Katie; and Ted and Susan Lakoski and their kids, Elizabeth (Lauren's grade) and Teddy (will be in Kindergarten with Jon Owen when we move him to Parish after this year). I was amazed at how well all the kids got along, and even more amazed at how well all the adults got along. It was a great evening, and I think these friendships will endure far beyond the buddy family requirements.
