So when I was pregnant with Hudson and my fingers swelled and I couldn't wear my wedding set any longer, Jay bought me a David Yurman sterling silver ring with pave diamonds. I wore it on my ring finger and waited for the day that my fingers would return to normal. Well normalcy has long since returned and still I wear it. I call it The Hudson Ring.
And isn't it interesting that Hudson is supremely interested in The Hudson Ring -- he frequently makes me take it off so that he can hold it, and even attempts to wear it on his finger. Wouldn't it be lovely if he gave it to his wife someday. The Hudson Ring.
