So Lauren and Jon Owen started school a full two weeks before Hudson did. And every morning, after the rush of uniforms and backpacks and lunches and getting out the door, Hudson would turn to me and say, "WHEN HUDSON SCHOOL????" It was the cutest thing ever. So finally, when the time came for him to go to school, he was beyond excited. As was I -- Hudson's teacher this year is Suzanne, who is my favorite teacher at the Co-op, and because Lauren and Jon Owen have paved the way, I know that Hudson is going to have a great experience.
So we arrived on the first day and hung out for a little bit with him, but he settled in quickly, and although I would have loved to stay and watch forever, he didn't need me to, so I cried my tears and went on my way. He's such a big, big boy. Sigh. How does it happen so quickly?
