The Joy of Our Chaos: Canada

It had been a ridiculously long time since we'd been to Canada to see Jay's family (Jon Owen was not yet walking, so you do the math), and although Rick and Mary travel to Texas frequently and stay for a goodly visit, and we get to see Keri and fam at Disney about once a year, the wails and complaints from my children had reached a deafening roar -- WHEN ARE WE GOING TO CANADA????? YOU KEEP SAYING WE WILL GO TO CANADA, AND WE NEVER DO!!!!!

So off to Canada we went, all 5 of us, for a week. We stayed at Papa and Grandma's house for most of the time, with a quick jaunt to Keri and Kris' house for a few days. We swam and played and toured and shopped and had lots of fun -- but mostly we just hung out and enjoyed each other, something that we don't get to do as often as we'd like.

Lots of fun was had poolside, the kids loved playing with Papa and Grandma's great pool toys and the adults loved the pool fridge stocked with Corona and limes!
