Our temperatures are still in the 80's and 90's during the day, causing some of us to feel like a dip in the pool is in order (cough, Lauren, cough). The problem with this is that the water is now very cold, since our nighttime temperatures are sitting in the 60's. But she begged and pleaded, and so did Jon Owen, so I let them get in. Of course, as you can see, Lauren was the only one crazy enough to actually do it, all the while insisting that it wasn't that cold. Afterwards, as she shivered and shook to get warm, she said, "Maybe that's the last swim of the year, Mommy." That's the thing with Lauren, you kind of have to let her get there all by herself.
