So, Hudson is not the most affectionate kid on the planet. Kisses are rare, hugs are fleeting. This kid's got things to do, don't you know. The one time of the day when I can count on getting some cuddles is after baths. He climbs out of the tub, and before you have half a second to dry him off, he catapults his naked self into your arms, throws his dripping arms around your neck, and burrows his head into your shoulder. And he'll actually stay there for a few minutes. It's heaven. Of course, I can count on getting completely soaked, but I do it happily.
And after this snuggle, when you've struggled to get his diaper on him and before you tackle him to put his pajamas on, he will crawl up in the big rocking chair in his room (that also rocked his brother and sister as babies), sit up straight, and wait for me to wrap a warm snuggly blanket around him. And he says "cozy." Only it doesn't really sound like cozy, because he's still working out his "z" sounds, so it sounds something like coshjzzeeeee. And it's adorable.
So here he is, feeling and looking cozy.
