So Lauren didn't have school on Friday due to parent/teacher conferences, and since we got her conference done on Thursday night, we had all day Friday to play and hang out. We initially thought we would take the kids and go to the State Fair, but we thought better of it when we found out it was Texas/OU weekend, so instead, Lauren and I decided to have Girls Day. You'll remember that Fridays are usually Boys Day, but for this Friday, the boys graciously agreed to relinquish their claim on the events of the day and give it up to Lauren.
So we started the day with a haircut and beautiful blow out from Mr. Joshua, my new fabulous hair guru. He's fantastic and quite a funny guy, and he and Lauren had a blast talking to each other. He told Lauren all about his favorite thing to do -- jumping out of planes. And Lauren told him all about the joys of Build-A-Bear Workshop. The conversation was utterly hilarious.
And here she is, in the process of becoming the epitome of a Breck Girl. Am I dating myself by using the term "Breck Girl?!?"

You might be dating yourself, I have no idea what a Breck girl is. But, maybe it is just because I'm Canadian??
But I agree, she looks completely gorgeous, and so not 7.
