Cottonwood Art Festival

On our honeymoon in Greece 8 years ago, Jay and I found a great, moody little painting on a palette of stone that we fell in love with. So we bought it -- our first piece of art -- and decided then that every year on our anniversary we would buy another piece of art. So today we headed to the Cottonwood Art Festival to see if we would fall in love with something for our 8 year anniversary.

And fall in love with something we did. A fantastic artist from Jerusalem, a beautiful oil on canvas that I couldn't love any more if I tried, and finally, a beautiful painting over my fireplace. More than we should have spent, but totally, totally worth it.

So here we are at the festival, squeezing in for a picture. And here is my new painting -- the photo doesn't really do it justice.

I can't believe it has been a year since we were here last and Hudson was still not walking. LOVE, LOVE, the painting and the colors!
