1. I am thankful for the opportunity to spend time with Lauren and her Brownie friends at the zoo campout this weekend. Almost across the board, these girls are bright, kind, and happy. I am beyond pleased that these are her peers.
2. I am thankful that Robin's second surgery was less invasive and upsetting than the first. She faces an uphill battle, but small victories give us all renewed faith that she will get through it.
3. I am thankful that my kids are through their week of "flu mist reaction" which looked an awful lot like the full blown flu. Watching your children struggle physically is a particularly acute kind of pain and worry.
4. I am thankful that I got to meet Tracy, once, a long time ago. The tears I've cried in her honor have been cleansing.
5. I am thankful for recent video of my Godson, Asher, dancing his heart out to Sesame Street. He's so far away, I love getting glimpses into his growth.
6. I am thankful that my children have Grandparents who come running whenever my children need them, and have yet to miss a Grandparents Day at any of their schools, even though they live a country away.
7. I am thankful to have spent a few evenings catching up with my old friend, Beverly. Our conversation is always therapeutic and enjoyable.
8. I am thankful to have had a fun Friday evening of tennis under the lights and dinner at Maximo with Dotti and Nupe Singhal.
9. I am thankful for some beautiful days and a much-needed break from the deluge of rain.
10. I am thankful for the feeling of contentment that I have in my life.

Yea! You are doing it! It is so fun and really makes you think about your blessings. I loved reading them!
I didn't realize Robin had a second surgery. I hope that is last for a long time for her. Asher sends his love. Heather
