Blessing of Shashee

So Friday was Blessing of the Animals at Parish.  And though in years past we have always taken Maddy, this year she is too old and frail to be hopping in and out of the Suburban, so we packed up Natasha in the pink kitty carrier that Lauren chose for her and took her to school. 

It's such a sweet thing, the religious staff say a sweet prayer over each animal to "bless them and the children who love them."  So Shashee got good and blessed, first in Lauren's class gathering and then in Jon Owen's.
