Another field trip, another great morning. The kids took an earlier trip to the zoo this year to see the large animals; and on this trip we took the DART rail downtown (17 stops and slightly brutal, but the kids loved it) to the Children's Zoo. We went in the bird area (sorry, I don't know the correct technical term for area where the birds will land on your body and scare you half to death), the petting area, the koi pond, the duck pond, etc. etc. It was great fun.
