So we took Lauren's top bunk and gave it to Hudson. I was never wild about the idea of bunkbeds, she rarely used the top bunk, and it made her already-small bedroom seem infinitely smaller. So when it came time for Hudson to graduate, it seemed an easy choice.Also making a reappearance in her room: the rocking chair and ottoman that sat in each of their rooms when they were babies. Some of my best memories came from that chair, and when we recently gave much of our baby stuff away, I couldn't bear to include it. Someday, when we have a bigger house, it will sit maybe in our guest bedroom, or my office. It's comfy as well as beloved! For now, it's in Lauren's room, and she does her nightly reading in it.
