It was adorable, Hudson got right into it and trudged up to every house with his brother and sister, said "trick or treat" (or a reasonable facsimile thereof), took candy (sometimes more than one piece, at which point his siblings admonished him), said "Happy Halloween!" (again, sort of), and waved goodbye (which neighbors mistakenly thought was him asking for more candy, and they happily obliged). It was one of those "wow" moments for Jay and I, not believing how big our baby has become, and feeling very proud of our kids.

Give all the kids a hug from Aunt Heather. I can't wait for them to meet Asher!
Matt had all the fun this halloween. Passing out candy for the kids (he bought full candy bars b/c he wants the kids to remember his house and had beer for the adults). He carved us a pumpkin. Asher ate his own candy during the festivities.
